Timothy Morton

Docente presso il dipartimento di Letteratura inglese della Rice University di Huston, in Texas. Autore del blog Ecology Without Nature, ha scritto più di 160 tra articoli e saggi su filosofia, ecologia, letteratura, musica architettura e design. Tra le sue opere pubblicate in italiano si ricordano Iperogetti (Nero 2018), Humankind. Solidarietà ai non umani (Nero 2022) ed Ecologia oscura (Luiss University Press 2022); In inglese / ufficiale: Timothy Morton is Rita Shea Guffey Chair in English at Rice University and Director of the Cool America Foundation. Morton is the author of 25 books, translated 51 times into 20 languages; 300 essays on philosophy, ecology, literature, music, art, architecture, design, and food; and the author of the libretto for the opera Time Time Time by Jennifer Walshe. Morton co-wrote and appears in Living in the Future’s Past, a 2018 film about global warming with Jeff Bridges. Morton has collaborated with Laurie Anderson, Björk, Andrew Melchior, Jennifer Walshe, Susan Kucera, Hrafnhildur Arnadottir, Sabrina Scott, Adam McKay, Jeff Bridges, Olafur Eliasson, Pharrell Williams and Justin Guariglia. In 2014, Morton gave the Wellek Lectures in Theory at UC Irvine.
