Robert K. Elder is the President & CEO of Outrider Foundation, which supports multimedia storytelling and journalism about climate change and nuclear threats.
Outrider’s fellowship program includes journalists at The New York Times, Time magazine, public radio’s Science Friday and InsideClimate News. Outrider has also partnered with the Associated Press on a project called “The New Nuclear Landscape,” which includes enterprise and investigative coverage about nuclear security issues.
Elder is the author or editor of more than twenty five books, and his work has appeared in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Paris Review, The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, Salon.com, and many other publications.
