Marko Marina

Marko Marina is a historian with a Ph.D. in history from the University of Zagreb (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences). He is the author of dozens of articles about early Christianity’s history. He works as a research assistant at the University of Zagreb (Faculty of Croatian Studies) where he teaches courses on the history of Christianity and the Roman Empire. His recent research focuses on Late antique monasticism, especially St. Pachomius and his communities. He is also involved in the bilateral project Saints and Shaping of Religious Identities between the Faculty of Croatian Studies (University of Zagreb), and the Research Center for Comparative History of Religious Orders (University of Dresden).
