Jesse Beentjes is an independent journalism strategist, based in Amsterdam. He has experience in audience engagement, innovation in local journalism, newsroom inclusion, fundraising & grant management. He also works as part-time editor-in-chief for Bureau Spotlight, a freelance collective for local investigative journalism in the Gelderse Vallei (NL), and is co-founder of the Huis voor de Journalistiek, a Dutch house for journalism under construction.
