A multi-award-winning photographer and advocacy communicator from the Philippines, Gregg Yan’s work has been featured by coffeetable books, magazines, television networks, websites and museums worldwide. He leads environmental group Best Alternatives while helping mentor emerging leaders through the ASEAN Youth Leaders Association and the Earth Journalism Network’s Earth Shorts Program for social media content creators. In 2013, he was awarded by Reader’s Digest Asia as one of the most trusted people in the Philippines and was ranked by Business Insider as the top ranked advocacy communicator for the Asia-Pacific Region in 2016. Gregg is also a veteran mountain climber, Reefcheck Eco-diver and was ritually scarred by the Maasai tribe of East Africa as an honorary warrior. He is active on Facebook and Instagram and conducts technical studies on Researchgate.
