La figura di Jelena Petrovic Njegos ricostruita attraverso le città a lei più care. Da Sorrento, dove nel 1876 ad appena 3 anni vide per la prima volta i reali d’Italia, a Venezia dove incontrò per la prima volta il consorte, da Bari dove iniziò la sua storia “italiana” ed entrò nella fede cattolica a Roma città scenario principale alla sua vita di sposa, madre e regina. Poi i luoghi di svago, dove strinse con le comunità locali un rapporto così stretto che ancora se ne tramanda il ricordo: Sant’Anna di Valdieri, Racconigi, San Rossore, Pollenzo… Ma nella sua mappa emotiva rientrano anche Ravello, Firenze, Napoli, Cettigne dove nacque, San Pietroburgo dove studiò, Alessandria d’Egitto, dove approdò esule e Montpellier dove morì.
