Un evento dedicato all’opera del maestro Emilio Isgrò, documentazione di un atto di rinascita attraverso la scoperta dell’uguaglianza tra oggetti e parole, tra natura e linguaggio. Nel 1971 presso il Centro Tool di Milano l’artista concettuale presenta un’istallazione composta da sette fogli dattiloscritti dal titolo Dichiaro di non essere Emilio Isgrò. Sulle pagine esposte si leggono le testimonianze di parenti e congiunti – oltre che dello stesso Isgrò – che affermano, con tanto di firma autografa, di non riconoscerlo. Quei testi sono diventati parte di un’installazione più vasta e infine di una pubblicazione, che oggi torna in una nuova edizione in occasione degli 88 anni dell’artista.
