La realtà goriziana e del territorio del Patriarcato di Aquileia dopo il 1420 a Venezia
Nel 1447 venne istruito un processo, probabilmente, presso la Luogotenenza di Udine a seguito della denuncia sporta alle autorità competenti di quell’epoca da Mathia di S. Vito, che dichiarò di essere stato saccheggiato dei propri averi, quindi di essere stato rapito e rinchiuso in un luogo difficilmente precisabile del territorio che in quel momento era ancora sotto la giurisdizione del conte di Gorizia Enrico IV. Il fatto svela la difficoltà di Venezia di capire ancora a distanza di più di 50 anni quali erano i confini e la sua giurisdizione nel goriziano e in molta altra parte del nostro territorio.
