La feroce libertà di Gisele Halimi. Un ritratto
Gisèle Halimi è stata un’avvocata, scrittrice e deputata francese di origini tunisine. Con alcuni processi passati alla Storia, ha impresso una fondamentale spinta alle lotte per i diritti civili. Nel 1971 ha fondato insieme a Simone de Beauvoir il movimento Choisir la cause des femmes. Pablo Neruda la chiamava “la bella donna dagli occhi tristi”. Romain Gary, di cui fu anche l’avvocata nell’affare Ajar, la affascinò. “Amo le persone come lui,” diceva: “libere e infuocate”. Una figura essenziale e protagonista di battaglie da non dimenticare e da tutelare in tutta Europa, che approfondiamo insieme a Elena Magalotti dell'Associazione Filosofemme, all'avvocata Gatti e a Daniela Dawan, scrittrice e consigliere della Corte di Cassazione, e a Valentina Ferri, editrice del prezioso ultimo libro intervista di Halimi, che esce in Italia con il titolo "Una feroce libertà".
