La conquista dello spazio è stata, inizialmente, momento di confronto anche serrato tra gli Stati Uniti e l’Unione Sovietica. Poi si è passati ad una collaborazione che ha portato a nuove sfide e alla costruzione della Stazione Spaziale Internazionale, l’avamposto dell’umanità. Il futuro della conquista dello spazio potrebbe essere a rischio a causa dei privati che inondano le orbite di satelliti per vari scopi, a volte poco controllabili. Per quanto riguarda il futuro c’è sicuramente la conquista della Luna che dovrebbe essere appannaggio dell’Europa.
