Il cantautore, autore e conduttore radiofonico Fabrizio Coppola ci conduce in un’immersione nella poetica di Nick Cave, a partire dal suo ciclo di lezioni sulla canzone d’amore e fino The Sick Bag Song (Bompiani, 2016), attraverso la sua ultima raccolta di prose poetiche, grottesche, disperate, sensuali che racconta la vita dell’artista nel corso di un tour, e fino al toccante Fede, speranza e carneficina (La nave di Teseo, 2022). Guidati dalle sue parole e da alcune delle sue più emozionanti composizioni (Into my arms, People Ain’t No Good, Love Letter, Are You The One that I’ve Been Waiting For? e molte altre), ne seguiremo il percorso artistico, progressivamente teso a indagare l’essenza più intima dell’esperienza umana.
