Negli ultimi due decenni, si sono moltiplicati gli sforzi per progettare, sviluppare e implementare tecnologie digitali a supporto della difesa nazionale. Di conseguenza, gli sforzi per sviluppare o acquisire capacità basate sull'IA in ambito difensivo stanno crescendo su scala globale, dalla guerra in Ucraina a quella a Gaza. Purtroppo, questi sforzi non sono accompagnati da un impegno nella definizione di quadri etici che regolino l'uso dell'IA nella difesa. Questo vuoto normativo e come superarlo saranno gli argomenti centrali di questo talk.
