Quando ci avviciniamo a un'area paludosa e maleodorante, dove galleggiano foglie e tronchi ormai in decomposizione, beh, non ci aspettiamo che lì in mezzo ci sia della gran vita. Niente di più sbagliato! Insieme a Valentina Gottardi e Maciej Michno (Caduto. La seconda vita degli alberi e Acqua ferma. Riflessi dalle terre umide) e alla guida ambientale Corrado Benatti ci addentreremo nel fitto bosco che costeggia il lago di Mezzo: tenendo gli occhi ben aperti e cercando di mantenere i piedi all'asciutto, scopriremo che gli alberi che sembrano morti sono straordinarie risorse vitali e che le acque ferme sono in realtà piene di movimento.
