Agricoltura rigenerativa per ridurre l'impatto ambientale della zootecnia
L’impatto ambientale della zootecnia è uno dei grandi temi di discussione nel dibattito pubblico legato alla produzione del cibo. La ricerca scientifica e l’industria zootecnica stanno lavorando per ridurlo esplorando anche nuove strade, oppure recuperando strade che potremmo definire antiche, come quelle legate all’agricoltura rigenerativa, riviste in un’ottica moderna. I progetti che Inalca, Corteva e Università di Milano presentano in questo incontro hanno valutato l’impatto di pratiche agronomiche innovative per la produzione dei foraggi destinati agli allevamenti di bovini da carne con l’obiettivo di ridurre le emissioni, migliorare la produttività delle colture, ottimizzare l’uso di fertilizzanti, migliorare la gestione del suolo e incrementare il sequestro di carbonio.
