Paolo Giordano, ha un dottorato in Fisica ed è uno scrittore tradotto in oltre quaranta paesi, collabora con il Corriere della Sera e scrive per il cinema e la TV. Ha scritto la sceneggiatura della serie We are who we are, realizzata per HBO da Luca Guadagnino. Con il suo primo romanzo, La solitudine dei numeri primi (Mondadori, 2010), ha vinto numerosi premi, tra cui il Premio Strega e il Campiello Opera Prima. Ha realizzato il podcast in quattro puntate Ossigeno, prodotto da Chora Media.
Ha pubblicato i romanzi Il corpo umano (Mondadori, 2012), Il nero e l'argento (Einaudi, 2014), Divorare il cielo (Einaudi, 2018) e i saggi Nel contagio (Einaudi, 2020), Le cose che non voglio dimenticare (Einaudi, 2021) e Tasmania (Einaudi, 2022).
